Tonya Miles, PsyD

I am a Licensed Psychologist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I maintain a private practice in Overland Park, Kansas and have extensive clinical training in the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adults, treatment for substance abuse, and trauma therapy as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.

In addition to my 15+ years of experience as a psychologist, I have also taught psychology and development at Johnson County Community College and am a former Board member of Postpartum Support International (PSI), an organization that serves to educate and advocate for perinatal mental health internationally. Currently, I am a member of the American Psychological Association, Greater Kansas City Psychological Association, Postpartum Support International, and Children and Adults with AD/HD (CHADD).

I earned my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri, my Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University, and my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. I live in Overland Park with my husband and three sons.
