Tonya Miles, PsyD
Dr. Tonya Miles is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in Overland Park, Kansas. She has had extensive clinical training in the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder in children and adults, treatment for substance abuse, and trauma therapy as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
In addition to her 15+ years of experience as a psychologist, Dr. Miles has also taught psychology and development at Johnson County Community College and is a former Board member of Postpartum Support International (PSI), an organization that serves to educate and advocate for perinatal mental health internationally. Currently, she is a member of the American Psychological Association, Greater Kansas City Psychological Association, Postpartum Support International, and Children and Adults with AD/HD (CHADD).
Dr. Miles earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri, her Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She lives in Overland Park with her husband and 3 sons.
